    15-20 mmHg Graduated Compression

Alder is tightest at the ankle — exactly where fluid pools first — and gradually releases pressure as it moves up the calf. That gradient is what pushes blood back toward your heart instead of letting it sit in your lower legs all day.

    Zipper protection

The first thing everyone asks: won't the zipper dig in? There's a soft protective layer sewn directly behind the zipper — between the metal and your skin. You'll never feel it. Not on day one. Not after eight months of daily wear.

Zip up and forget it's there.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t think these would make much difference. I’ve been fighting with compression socks for three years. Put these on in under a minute this morning. Under a minute. I don’t know what else to say.

Finally compression socks I can actually put on myself. I bought a pair for my wife too and she says the same. My legs feel lighter by the end of the day and I haven’t had to throw a single sock across the room.

So much easier with the zipper. I have arthritis in both hands and the regular ones were a nightmare. Really happy with these, ordering two more pairs.

These socks are great. I can put them on myself now without my wife’s help and they’re comfortable all day. Been wearing them two weeks straight. Recommend.

No. Alder socks have a soft inner fabric layer that runs along the entire length of the zipper, preventing it from touching or rubbing your skin. This protective lining keeps the zipper smooth against your leg.

The zipper itself is sturdy yet low-profile, so it will not bulge or press into your calf. You can wear them comfortably for hours, without irritation, pinching, or red marks.

Use the size chart above on this page. For best results, measure the widest part of your calf and your shoe size. If you’re between sizes, we recommend the larger one for comfort.

Absolutely. Alder socks are unisex and available in multiple sizes and two colors to fit both men and women comfortably.

Alder compression socks are available in two styles:

Classic – Provides full foot coverage for a classic, all-day feel.
Open-Toe – Leaves the toes exposed for added airflow, comfort, and easy toe care.

Both styles offer the same compression support and benefits — the choice simply comes down to personal comfort and preference.

For best results, machine wash your Alder socks in cold water on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Close the zippers before washing and avoid bleach or fabric softener. Let them air dry to help preserve the fabric, zipper, and compression for as long as possible.

No problem. You’re covered by our 90-day money-back guarantee. Try them risk-free, and if they’re not perfect, we’ll refund you, no questions asked.

Only compression socks I can put on

I’ve tried so many over the years but they were impossible to pull up with my hands. These zip up easily with no struggle at all. The fit feels great, snug but not cutting off circulation and I can wear them all day without sweating. It’s such a relief not having to ask my wife for help every morning.

My husband actually wears these without complaining

Bought these for my husband who has poor circulation and always grumbled about his old compression socks. These go on easily and he says they’re the most comfortable ones yet. His swelling has gone down a lot, and he doesn’t need my help putting them on anymore. We’ll be ordering more pairs.

Comfortable all day, even with arthritis

After many tiring struggles to put on another brand, this one was a welcome change. I have arthritis in my hands, so pulling up regular compression socks was a nightmare. These are super easy to zip on and feel soft on the skin. I wear them all day even while gardening and they never slide down. My feet are happy again.

        Didn’t expect much, but wow!

I’m 68 and have chronic edema. I’ve spent years trying different compression socks that were impossible to get on. These are exactly what I needed. They’re easy to zip, stay in place and don’t cut into my skin. Perfect! A word I never thought I would say about compression socks. Absolutely worth every penny.

        I love them!

I’ve spent a small fortune on compression socks over the years because of varicose veins and poor circulation. Most either roll down, feel rough, or lose their tightness quickly. Alder socks are totally different. They stay put, feel soft, and the compression is perfect, tight enough to help but never painful. I love the smooth zipper and how easy it is to get them on, even when my legs are swollen. I finally found something that does what it promises.

        Huge help during my pregnancy

After my pregnancy I had terrible swelling and heaviness in my legs, especially at the end of the day. My doctor suggested compression socks, but I couldn’t find any that didn’t feel like torture to put on. A friend told me about Alder, and these are a game changer. I can get them on without struggling, and the zipper doesn’t dig into my skin at all. I wear them around the house and sometimes even sleep in them. The difference in my legs is incredible.

        Great for arthritic hands

These socks are worth every cent. I’m 68 and have arthritis in my hands, so pulling tight socks up was nearly impossible. The Alder zipper makes it so easy. They feel soft, not like those rough medical ones, and they give a gentle but firm compression that keeps my legs from swelling. I wear them when gardening, walking, and even when sitting at the computer. After two weeks, my legs look and feel so much healthier.

        Helps when I'm traveling

I travel a lot for work and my legs always swell up after long flights. I bought these Alder socks before a trip to Europe and they made a huge difference. Easy to zip up in the airport restroom, no squeezing or struggling. I wore them for the 9-hour flight and they stayed comfortable the whole time. When I took them off, my legs actually looked normal with no marks or swelling. These are now a permanent part of my carry-on.

        Very comfortable

I’m a retired nurse and on my feet for most of my life, so I know a thing or two about compression socks. These are the best I’ve owned. The zipper feature is genius and no more wrestling them on in the morning. They give just the right amount of compression and still feel comfortable even after 10 hours. I used to buy cheaper ones that stretched out after a month, but these still look brand new. Worth every penny if you deal with tired, swollen legs.
