The failure nobody warns you about
The light stays green the whole time.
That's the part that gets people. The machine never tells you it has stopped working.
Every purifier on the shelf breathes through a flat grille — a perforated panel on one face. It's cheap to make and it works beautifully in a house with no animals in it.
Put it in a house with a shedding cat or dog and something predictable happens. Hair doesn't get pulled through the holes; it bridges across them. The mechanism

Havn doesn't have a flat face for hair to mat across. It draws from two opposed curved channels running the height of the body.
Nothing flat to bridge
A curve gives hair no two points close enough to span. It slides down the channel wall instead of catching across it — the same reason water sheets off a curved roof and pools on a flat one.
Hair stops before the HEPA
A washable electrostatic mesh takes the hair and the heavy dander first. Rinse it under the tap once a month. It's the only maintenance this machine asks of you.
Six months, not three
Because the H13 never has to deal with hair, it fills with what it's actually for. That roughly doubles its life — which is most of the running cost of owning one of these.

Ammonia and the sulphur compounds from a covered tray are small, light molecules. They're the first thing the activated carbon layer takes out, and the first thing you notice missing.
